Circular economy principles
Our products are developed to support circular economic principles by enabling repair over replacement, thereby
extending the lifetime of mechanical components. To demonstrate this e昀昀ect, we have been working with ReFlow to build
calculated case examples.
Incoming packaging materials are reused for outbound shipments, and a signi昀椀cant share of our packaging materials—
particularly cardboard—contains 71–100% recycled content.
Wencon’s wooden box for kit solutions is speci昀椀cally designed for long-term use on board ships, which has been validated
through international packaging tests. The box has passed compression testing in accordance with DS/ISO 12048:2001
and meets the requirements of international transport conventions (ADR, RID, ICAO, IMDG). These tests con昀椀rm the
robustness of the packaging and its ability to withstand repeated handling and demanding maritime conditions.
Through continued reuse and re昀椀lls, the box also serves as a practical reminder for crews to keep vessels stocked with
Wencon products, enabling them to address unexpected issues in a timely and sustainable manner.
