Waste
Our waste is divided into hazardous and non-hazardous streams.
Hazardous waste is delivered to the joint municipal hazardous
waste station (MOTAS), where disposal is invoiced per kg and
thus traceable. No hazardous waste disposal was required in
2024.
Non-hazardous waste mainly consists of household-type waste
and is managed through the municipal waste service in Nordfyns
Municipality, as required by Danish waste regulations. Here, costs
are based on container size and emptying frequency, but no
systematic data on weight or volumes is available.
