Human rights
In Wencon we are committed to respecting human rights as described in the UN International Bill of Human
Rights and the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at
Work. This commitment applies to all aspects of the company’s operations and business relationships.
In 2025, we will formalize our approach to risk-based due diligence and the integration of human rights in our
value chain.
Human rights policies & processes for own workforce
Wencon has implemented a Code of Conduct covering principles such as child labour, discrimination, and
accident prevention, alongside an Employee Handbook guiding best working practices. Both documents are
shared with employees, and no incidents or violations were reported in 2024.
The Employee Handbook is consistently introduced during hiring, while the Code of Conduct is not yet fully
implemented. Going forward, Wencon aims to strengthen its use as a guide for ethical decision-making and
alignment with international principles. Our Code of Conduct sets global standards for how we engage with
colleagues, customers, suppliers, communities, authorities, and other stakeholders.
