ABOUT WENCON
History
Wencon ApS was founded in 1992 and has been based in Bogense, Denmark from the very beginning. The
company was started by Erik Wendelin, who brought with him a vision of providing maritime repair and
maintenance solutions focused not just on new equipment, but on restoring, protecting, rebuilding and
extending the life of maritime components through high quality epoxy products.
From niche beginnings, Wencon has expanded into a global company. While rooted locally in Bogense, we have
developed long-term dealer partnerships spanning decades.
Over the years we have continuously evolved, expanding our product range, entering new geographical markets,
and investing in both internal capabilities and external relationships to meet global demands.
In recent years, Wencon has also adapted its structure to support further growth. This includes changes in
ownership with investment from Brygge Partners A/S and transitions in leadership to ensure that we are wellpositioned for the future.
