ENVIRONMENT
Our environmental focus is to extend the lifetime of maritime equipment
through our Repair over Replace philosophy, thereby reducing the
need for new materials and lowering their Scope 3 emissions. We
also work continuously to reduce our own environmental footprint by
sourcing renewable electricity and improving energy e昀케ciency at our
headquarters.
To document these bene昀椀ts, we collaborate with ReFlow, whose
independent calculations highlight the CO₂ savings achieved when
choosing repair instead of replacement.
Through this partnership we can present concrete case solutions such as
our Rudderstock repair and upcoming cases that provide precise carbon
footprint calculations of repair compared to new-built machine parts.
With this initiative we concentrate on three of the UN’s 17 Sustainable
Development Goals: 12, 13 and 17.
